Netflix dropped the teaser trailer for Squid Game Season 3, igniting even more anticipation for the final chapter of the Korean survival drama, premiering June 27, 2025.

He’s alive but visibly broken, ridden with guilt and defeat. The clip shows players divided into red and blue teams via a lucky dip ball machine, hinting at new, lethal games. Quick cuts of panicked faces and the eerie game room, paired with a haunting score, amplify the sense of impending doom. The trailer ends with Netflix’s tagline: “It’s time to play one last time.”

Official Cast

Returning cast includes Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun, Lee Byung-hun as the Front Man, Hwang In-ho, Wi Ha-joon as Hwang Jun-ho, the determined ex-cop, and Yim Si-wan as Jang Myung-Gi, Player 333. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, who wrote and filmed Seasons 2 and 3 back-to-back, has crafted Season 3 as Gi-hun’s final clash with the Front Man, exploring redemption and societal critique before concluding this popular series.
