Funny Little Fears (2025) | Sony Music Italy / Arista Records

“Zombie Lady” is the third track on FUNNY little FEARS, a 14-song album exploring themes of personal struggle, love, and resilience. The song, clocking in at 3:08, features a ‘80s, atmospheric pop-rock vibe with driving beats and David’s signature emotive vocals. Lyrically, it delves into a haunting yet romantic narrative, with lines like “Don't stop eating my heart out, baby / Don't stop giving me yours / Oh, my beautiful zombie lady / The only one I adore” evoking a mix of obsession and devotion. The track’s production blends moody synths with gritty guitar riffs, aligning with David’s shift toward a more experimental solo sound compared to Måneskin’s glam-rock edge.

A key highlight is the collaboration with American singer-actress Dove Cameron, who provides backing vocals, adding a layered, ethereal quality to the song. The official visual video for “Zombie Lady,” has amassed over 25,000 views within its first few hours. The track is also available for streaming on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, where it’s gaining traction alongside other album cuts like “Voices” and “The Bruise” (featuring Suki Waterhouse).
